Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) is a crowdsourcing marketplace run by Amazon Web Services. It's a platform that connects businesses and developers with a global, on-demand workforce to complete tasks that require human intelligence—tasks that computers currently can't do effectively. These tasks, known as Human Intelligence Tasks (HITs), can range from data verification and transcription to image tagging and surveys.
